NeoLoad's Shared license is installed on a Neotys License Server and permits multiple users to share VUs across several machines (controllers) to support concurrent testing.

This tool allows you to estimate the number of concurrent virtual users (VU's) to be simulated according to the following criteria:

• Assuming a constant load spread over 1 hour of the application's use;
• Number of pages viewed per hour – this figure can be extracted from your Web server's log file;
• Number of pages viewed per user – that is to say the number of pages in a representative test case;
• Test duration in minutes.

NeoLoad Controller: shared license

The license price depends on the required number of simultaneous virtual users. The Controller license includes integrated cloud test set up and provisioning and enables users to record scenarios, launch a test up to the VU limit and analyze test results using http or https protocols. Optional features include monitoring modules for O/S, DB and Application Servers, integration modules, the NeoLoad Collaboration module and web protocol modules.

NeoLoad Modules: shared license

Additional modules can be added to the shared license. The modules allow you to test specific protocols (Protocol Module) and to monitor the application environment during the test (Monitoring Module). The cost is given per module. The modules must match the license support level of the Controller.
